The admission management has provided a laid-out process for its online application for the 2025 academic year. Prospective students should apply following these processes.

  3. Select nursing
  4. Select Netcare
  5. Scroll down until you see Netcare Education the “Apply” red button
  6. Tick the “I have read and understood the course criteria”
  7. Click “Apply”

    • Your Surname
    • Your email
    • Your Cellphone
    • Select your Nationality (South African or other)
    • Enter your ID
    • Click Submit
  9. Follow the rest of the application instructions by providing all the information and documents required.

Also, every applicant is expected to pay a non-refundable application fee of R490.00 to KR Education. This amount is not paid to Netcare Education and Training rather it is to be paid to the recruitment agency KR Education.

Programs Offered at Netcare College Of Nursing

HIGHER CERTIFICATE IN NURSING (169)

Prospective students applying to study Higher Certificate in Nursing at Netcare College of Nursing must have these subjects and their respective minimum scores on their matric certificate.

  1. English (40%)
  2. Mathematics/Mathematic Literacy (40%) and
  3. Life Sciences (40%)

Note that the Higher Certificate in Nursing course at Netcare is a full-time one-year study program.

DIPLOMA IN NURSING – GENERAL (171)

Prospective students who would want to apply to study Diploma in Nursing at Netcare College of Nursing must have these subjects and their respective minimum scores on their certificate.

  1. English minimum 40%
  2. Mathematics or Mathematic literacy minimum 40%
  3. Life Sciences minimum 40%
  4. Computer Literacy at NQF level 3 (three), and
  5. One other subject with a credit value of 20 (twenty)
    minimum 40% of the designated subject list as outlined in policy 751 of 2008 of the Department of Education.
  6. Candidates who have completed a relevant health-related qualification at NQF Level 3 (three) or 4 (four), for example as an Auxiliary Nurse (Reg 2176) or NQF Level 4 (four) as an Enrolled Nurse (Reg 2175) and who have met the institutional selection criteria may be granted entry into the diploma program.

Also, the Diploma in Nursing is a full-time three-year study course.
