University of Johannesburg (UJ) online applications for the 2025 academic year, are now available for individuals interested in pursuing new undergraduate or postgraduate qualifications. The application window for UJ runs from April 4th to September 30th 2024. All applicants, regardless of nationality or language, are encouraged to apply. UJ has four campuses and all are
- Auckland Park Kingsway
- Auckland Park Bunting Road
- Doornfontein
- Soweto campuses all located in the metropolitan area of the City of Johannesburg.
UJ online application closing dates
The application window for the University of Johannesburg will be open from the period of 1st April 2024 till 3st of October. Prospective students who wish to apply to the institution, should start applying now as the institution will not accept any late application.
UJ online application process
Online application at University of Johannesburg is totally free so you are not required to pay any fee in order to apply. But for hardcopy you will be required to make a payment of R200. If you wish to submit a hardcopy, please feel free to contact the schools Call Centre at 011 559 4555 or send an email to mylife@uj.ac.za for further assistance. Here is the step by step process which will lead to you successfully completing and submitting your online application at NMU.
- go to the application website by clicking HERE
- if you do not have a student number, click on NO
- select if you are a new applicant or you are returning to complete your application
- if you are a new applicant, you will have to read the rules then click on I ACCEPT
- fill in the required information and upload the required documents
- submit your online application
NB: If you have previously applied and have a UJ student number, please call the UJ Call Centre (011 559 4555) to ensure that your cell number and email address are captured on our student database. This will ensure that
you receive a PIN number to complete the online application process.
How to track my application
If you have finally applied to the University of Johannesburg, it will be wise if you check the status of your application so as to know your academic stand in 2025. To check your application status, here is the simple process to do so:
- Go to the UJ website
- Click on ‘Admissions + Aid’ and then click on ‘check status’
- Log in with your details
- You will then be able to check your status
